Every groups, be it a class at school or a football team, are based on rules. Besides the norms transferred by the head teacher or the head coach, hidden norms can appear, which are created and maintained by the group itself. Unfortunately these rules not always help the effective functioning of the group. During the collective trainings there are opportunities to correct the previously revealed, destructive, hidden norms to help to make the cooperation between classmates or teammates more effective.
Besides the rules the effective working of a group is defined by the relationships between its members. Who considers who as a friend, who are the popular members, who are lonely in the group? Are there any cliques in the group and if yes, what effects can they have on the efficiency of the class or the team? With the help of the collective consultations, there are opportunities to integrate the lonely members. Beside this, the possibly negative effects of the cliques on the working of the group can be corrected by the examination of them. The colective exploration of the norms and the informal structure of a group can make the elaboration of the personalized training program more effective.
In the life of a group, it is important for the members to take responsibility for their own acts and for the effective working of their community. Besides the faith in the efforts and the persistent teamwork could also result in a better performance in the life of the group. according to this, after the exploration of the levels of the sense of responsibility and the type of attitude, there is an opportunity to work out and apply a specificly group personalized training program, whose aim is to improve the sense of responsibility and the attitude.
